Invitation to the 1st  International Occupational Health Forum and the 3rd China-US Occupational Health Symposium

 

To implement the National Plan on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases(2016-2020), improve the management capacity of companies in occupational health and research capacity on occupational disease prevention and control, explore answers to the challenges faced by regulators and companies and foster the development and application of new technologies and equipment, and the entire health industry of China, the National Center for International Cooperation in Work Safety, P. R. China, along with the Beijing Municipal Institute of Labour Protection and the American Industrial Hygiene Association is going to host the 1st Occupational Health Forum and the 3rd China-US Occupational Health Symposium in Beijing this year.

Representatives from occupational health regulators, associations, higher institutions, research institutions, service organizations, equipment manufacturers and large companies from both at home and abroad will be invited to attend the event. Attendees will comprise inspectors, scholars, managers, certified safety engineers and certified industrial hygienists. They will address urgent OH issues in the world, particularly those in China and discuss topics of common interest, share success concepts and experience and promote effective approaches and modern technologies through the event.

(3) A small area of exhibition will be set up concurrently with the Forum. Companies specializing in protection technologies/equipment for workplace hazards and PPE both at home and abroad will be invited to exhibit, only open to the Forum participants.

Occupational Health Inspectors from Regulators;

Professionals and Experts in Occupational Health at Universities, Research Institutes and Public Institutions;

Practitioners from Occupational Health Service Organizations, Training Organizations, Insurance Companies, Health Consulting and Disease Control Organizations and Related Industries.

 

6.    Call for Papers

An academic committee will be established to evaluate and collect papers. Some of the papers of excellence will be presented at the Forum and included into the Proceedings. Please refer to the Attachment 3 for more information.

 

7.    Other

(1) Please fill out the attached form(either Attachment 1 or 2) and send it to the Secretariat upon completion by email if you are interested in attending or exhibiting at the Forum.

(2) Registration fees:

Delegates must register in advance. On-site registration and payment is not accepted. Registration fee before May 1st 2017 is 2600RMB/person(450USD), 2300RMB/person(380USD)for three or more registrations as a group;  Registration fee after May 1st 2017 is 3000RMB/person(500USD), 2800RMB/person(460USD) for three or more registrations as a group.

(3) 1600RMB(240USD) per square meter for standard booth; 1500RMB(230USD) per square meter for raw space(smallest area 36 square meters)
