He serves as the professor and group leader of Environmental Safety and Health Technology Development Center in Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan, the assistant professor of Department of Public Health in Chung Shan Medical University and Department of Environmental Safety in National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology. He specializes in working environment monitoring, respiratory protection equipment, occupational health, micro-pollution monitoring, etc. He has published the Guideline for selection of respiratory protection equipments, Guideline for selection of gas monitoring devices, Guideline for micro-pollution control of semiconductor processes, Guideline for working environment measurement, Lifetime display technology of canister for respiratory protection equipments, and Production technology of semiconductor gas detectors, etc.

During the work in the ITRI, he mainly engaged to establish the monitoring regulations of working environment in Taiwan, and carry out the popularization and research of monitoring technology and health risk assessment. During the work in ISHA, he mainly engaged to the health promotion, development and popularization of occupational health technology, assisting in the formulation and popularization of qualitative, semi-quantitative and quantitative working environment exposure assessment policies, drafting the technical guidelines, and guiding the enterprises to establish the exposure assessment strategies. The ISHA has long devoted to the  exchange of occupational safety and health between the two sides of Taiwan Straits, and hosted the 23th Academic Seminar on Occupational Safety and Health of Cross-Strait, Hong Kong and Macao Regions in Taipei, 2015.
