He has mainly engaged in the teaching and research on the environmental pollution control and energy efficient promotion of scientific laboratory, devoted to protect the occupational health and safety of science researcher in the laboratory environment. He is the vice director of expert committee of Resources Utilization Technology and Equipment Committee in China Association of Circular Economy, the vice secretary general of Shanghai Energy Conservation and Environmental Service Association, the standing committee member of Health Engineering Committee in Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, the member of Chinese expert group for ISO/TC142-WG12 (Air and Other Gases Purification Committee), the member of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Airconditioning Engineers), and the member of I2SL (International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories). He has presided over the drafting of 3 industrial and local standards, and participated in the drafting of 3 national standards, 2 industrial and local standards.

He won the 2nd class prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Awards in 2015, and his team "Science and technology innovation project team of energy saving and consumption reducing" got the honor of “Shanghai New Long March Commando” in 2007.


Topic of Lecture: Detection and analysis of environment control system in chemical laboratory


Abstract: With the approval of environment control system of a national key laboratory’s new experiment building, mainly based on the relevant domestic standards, and reference technical parameters of EU and American standards and the working process, combined with the technological requirement of the chemical laboratory building, establish the corresponding high standards for the laboratory building and operable the appropriate acceptance process. Select the typical laboratory room, test   face velocity, containment and pressure loss of laboratory fume hood. Test the performance of capture hood, universal cover and walk-in fume hood, judge the air pollutants control ability of these key ventilation equipment in the chemical laboratory. Test air temperature and humidity and pressure of room to determine whether the ventilation and air conditioning system is able to meet the design requirements. According to the test and found problem, put forward the suggestions to improve the ventilation and air conditioning system. After carrying out the improvement, retest and expand the scope of testing to ensure the indoor air temperature and humidity, noise, lighting, ventilation and air conditioning air pollutants control system of the Chemical Laboratory can match the design requirements. This work can not only provide the safe healthy and comfortable working environment for laboratory staff, but also meet with building energy conservation requirements. The technical route can provide a useful reference for the completion acceptance and operation guarantee of similar chemical laboratory.
