He graduated from Chinese Medical University in 1985, and graduated from Harbin Medical University in 1991. He has long engaged in the scientific research, on-site monitoring, evaluation and management work of occupational health. Now he is the director of Department of Occupational Health Protection, National Institute for Occupational Health and Poisoning Control, Chinese Center for Diseases Control and Prevention, and engaged in the research of occupational health protection, ergonomics and occupational epidemiology.

He has presided over or participated in a number of provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, the cooperative projects with WHO, and the projects of the National 973 Program, the "12th Five-Year" National Key Technology Research and Development Program, the Health Industry Special Project, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. He has won one 2nd class prize and two 3rd class prizes of the provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards. He has published 4 monographs and more than 50 papers. He has rich experience in the aspects of occupational hazard identification, assessment and control, personnel protection technology, skin injury prevention, occupational epidemiology and ergonomics, etc.


Topic of Lecture: The ergonomics study of musculoskeletal disorders among wind power operation and maintenance workers


Abstract: 

[Objective] 

To identification and assessment the musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) and its related ergonomic factors among wind power operation maintenance workers, and to explore the countermeasures and measures of prevention and control them. 

[Method] 

In order to identify and evaluate musculoskeletal disorders and their risk factors and related influence factors, we conducted an investigation and analysis for the general situation, WMSDs happen, subjective feeling of space, the psychological health condition of 151 operation maintenance personnel (observation group) and Research and development personnel in 17 wind power plants belongs to wind power business division in a south company as an study object, and measured and their work places and body size, Using the methods such as epidemiological cross-sectional survey, measurement of work space and the body size of human.

[Result] 

①The occurrence areas of MSDs among wind power operation maintenance workers are mainly distributed in my lower back, neck and shoulder, the MSDs of lower back in these areas is most serious, it’s occurrence rate is as high as 88.7%. ② The MSDs among wind operation maintenance workers coming into contact with exposure to the adverse ergonomic factors in professional activities process, including the narrow and small of work place of climbing ladder in tower drum, maintenance channel in fan engine room, Periodically maintenance and fault clearance, Heavy load, Static and repetitive tasks, and professional psychological factors. The life elements such as Use time of computer after class Increase risk of MSDs. ③ Seven of the 151 wind power maintenance workers were in poor mental health and 26 were in sub-health,The detection rate of poor mental health (poorer and sub-health) was 21.86%. 

[Conclusion]

The Wind power operation and maintenance personnel had the problems of MSDs occurrence, and associated with occupational factors and influenced by the factors of life. Work space cannot meet the requirements of the operator's operating activities and operating position, produce the narrow operation space, which is an important factor to affect the occurrence of WMSDs. psychological factors cannot be ignored.
